About La Casa Cordova
La Casa Cordova, a historic adobe structure built in the mid-1840s, is named after the Cordova family who last resided there. It houses installations and interpretive exhibitions that highlight the diverse histories and families of downtown Tucson, including Barrio Presidio. Visitors can view Maria Luisa Tena’s El Nacimiento, the largest and longest-running nativity scene in the Southwest, and Vivamos Siempre Como Hermanos. The building's exterior stabilization project received a Historic Preservation Award in 2024.
