The Maxine & Jesse Whitney Museum at Prince William Sound College houses one of the world's largest collections of Native Alaskan art and artifacts. The collection was donated to the college in 1998. It opened in a new state-of-the-art museum adjacent to the college in May 2008, featuring professionally designed exhibits.
