About Clausen Memorial Museum
Clausen Memorial Museum preserves the diverse stories of Petersburg, from the Tlingit people who first inhabited these waters to the Norwegian fishermen who built a town on the salmon trade. The museum houses over 3,000 artifacts including photographs and fishing and cannery history, and displays the world record King Salmon. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring regional contemporary artwork and participate in art programs.
