Alaska Aviation Museum — Museum

The Alaska Aviation Museum features four hangars of exhibitions and vintage aircraft. Visitors can see a 1943 Grumman G-44 “Super Widgeon” and watch volunteers restore a WWII Curtiss P-40 in the Cecil Higgins Restoration Hangar. The Seybert Tower offers views of seaplanes from the flight deck and a live radio feed from the Lake Hood tower, which is the World’s Largest Seaplane Base. The museum also provides docent-guided tours covering Alaska's history through aircraft and self-guided experiences.
