About Port Washington Light Station
The Port Washington Light Station is a historic light station re-built in 1860. It features a lighthouse with a lantern room atop a modified school house design and keeper’s living quarters. Visitors can climb to the lantern room, which houses a replica 4th order Fresnel lens and offers views. The first floor museum is accessible via an entrance on the rear west side.
