About Copper Culture Museum
The Copper Culture Museum explains the tools used by the Copper Culture people and their way of survival. Visitors can see more recent Native American artifacts and children can experience a mock excavation pit. A foot trail leads to the burial ground, the oldest known in Wisconsin, where the Copper Culture people, among the world's earliest metalsmiths, buried their dead. The museum is housed in the former Charles Werrebroeck home.
