About Northern Waters Museum
Northern Waters Museum presents exhibits and displays about the people, places, stories, and artifacts from the early days of the Land O' Lakes area. Its main room features an exhibit that changes every few years to highlight local history. The museum building was originally the rustic ski chalet for the Gateway Ski Hill, part of the King's Gateway resort complex from the late 1930s. It was moved to the Land O' Lakes Town Park and opened as the museum in 2001.
