About Polson Museum
The Polson Museum is Grays Harbor’s History Museum and a National Historic Site, founded in 1976. It is located on over two acres of parkland and features a campus of five buildings, including the meticulously restored 1924 Polson Mansion. Visitors can explore the mansion's original features, see large logging and sawmilling artifacts in the Railroad Camp Locomotive Shop, and enjoy extensive gardens, outdoor machinery displays, a hillside trail, and the Burton Ross Memorial Rose Garden. The museum also includes an 80-acre forest preserve at Camp Klahanee.
