About James Madison Museum
The James Madison Museum is the first U.S. museum to honor James Madison, the 4th President, showcasing the heritage of Orange County, Virginia through presidential, cultural, and agricultural exhibits. Visitors can view collections of books, documents, costumes, furniture, farm equipment, presidential artifacts, and a 1730s patent house. The museum also features a Hall of Agriculture & Transportation, a Black History Room, and a Madison Room with artifacts from eight Virginia-born presidents.
