About Butterfly Biosphere
Butterfly Biosphere at Thanksgiving Point is Utah’s only butterfly conservatory and insectarium, located in the Barbara Barrington Jones Family Foundation Building. Guests can explore the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Butterfly Conservatory, which houses over a thousand live butterflies from around the world. The Discovery Zone features hundreds of live insects, offering daily Critter Encounters, Bug Races, and Entomologist Chats. Visitors can also participate in Butterfly’s First Flight to release newly-emerged butterflies.
