About Nacogdoches Railroad Depot
The Nacogdoches Railroad Depot was built in 1911 by Southern Pacific Railroad, replacing an earlier structure. It transported goods, passengers, and soldiers until passenger service ceased in 1954. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the depot houses a transportation museum. Visitors can explore a complete exhibit sharing the story of the railroad, its passengers, and its workers.
