About Kyle Railroad Depot and Heritage Center
The Kyle Railroad Depot and Heritage Center is a museum housed in the historic 1917 Kyle Depot building. Visitors can experience a typical day at a train depot by walking through the building and examining artifacts from 1917 to 1965. Inside, guests will find two waiting rooms with period furnishings, a restored station master’s office, and an audio presentation with train announcements. A documentary video details the establishment of Kyle, Texas by the International & Great Northern Railroad.
