The building was restored in 2004 using original blueprints and constructed from limestone, pink granite, red sandstone, and tan sandstone. It serves as a reminder of Denton County’s history, housing the museum and John B. Denton’s grave. The site hosts lectures, exhibits, and community events throughout the year.
