About Cedar Hill Museum of History
The Cedar Hill Museum of History is located inside the Traphene Hickman Public Library in Cedar Hill. It is part of a 10-acre Library, Museum, and Signature Park campus. The museum features the fossilized remains of Plessy, a Plesiosaurus from approximately 65 million B.C. Visitors can explore collections showcasing the history of Cedar Hill, which was founded in 1846, and participate in docent-led tours and educational programs.
