About Edison Museum
The Edison Museum in Beaumont, Texas, is dedicated to Thomas Alva Edison, his inventions, and innovations. Housed in the historic Travis Street Substation, it offers two floors of interactive exhibits. Visitors can explore Edison's life, including his childhood, a chronology of accomplishments, and the development of the practical incandescent light bulb. The museum, which holds over 1,400 artifacts, is the only facility of its kind west of the Mississippi River.
