About South Dakota Air and Space Museum
The South Dakota Air & Space Museum is a United States Air Force Field Museum. It features an extensive collection and archive of Cold War aircraft, artifacts, and documents related to Ellsworth AFB. Visitors can see examples of B-29, B-52, and B-1 bombers, along with Titan I and Minuteman missiles. The museum also includes four large inside galleries covering military and civilian aerospace achievements, housed in former aircraft alert hangers.
