About Georgetown County Museum
The Georgetown County Museum, operated by the Georgetown County Historical Society, presents nearly 300 years of American history through the lives of Georgetown County residents. It features exhibits on colonial beginnings, the Revolutionary era, rice plantations, and the timber industry. The museum also includes The Francis Marion Interpretive Center.
