About Richland Historical Society
The Richland Historical Society preserves the Shelly one-room school in Richland Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Built in 1885, the schoolhouse has been maintained since 1959 and reflects its appearance from 1957. It is the only site in Richland Township on both the National Register of Historic Places and the Bucks County Register. A two-story museum, built in 2005, stands next to the school and contains historical records, books, and artifacts.
