About Gettysburg Heritage Center
The Gettysburg Heritage Center, operated by the nonprofit Gettysburg Nature Alliance, educates visitors on Gettysburg's heritage and habitat. Guests can explore stories of the Battle of Gettysburg from civilian and soldier perspectives, including a "Cellar Experience." The center also features a real Witness Tree and an award-winning 20-minute movie presentation about the battle. A large bookstore offers Civil War books and souvenirs.
