Phillips, the museum contains Civil War era military and Native American artifacts from the Bird Creek Basin and Quapaw Creek areas. The Skiatook Museum is also home to a wealth of local genealogy information and historical documents, including microfilm of newspapers dating back to 1905, when the town’s first paper began publishing.
