About Marland's Grand Home
Marland's Grand Home is a museum in Ponca City, Oklahoma. It was the residence of Ernest Whitworth Marland, who founded Marland Oil Company and later served as a U.S. Congressman and Oklahoma's 10th Governor. Marland and his wife, Mary Virginia Collins, moved into the newly built home in 1916 with their adopted children. The museum shares the history of the Marland family and E.W. Marland's significant contributions to the oil business and politics.
