About Osage County Historical Society Museum
The Osage County Historical Society Museum in Pawhuska is housed in an old Santa Fe depot, taking visitors back to Oklahoma's early days. It features exhibits on Western and pioneer life, the early oil industry, Native American heritage, and Boy Scouts. Visitors can see a restored one room country schoolhouse, learn about famous oilmen, and view a ranch chuck wagon. The museum also highlights Pawhuska as home to America's first organized Boy Scouts troop.
