Heritage Sylvania is a multi-site historical and educational non-profit located in Sylvania's Historic Downtown. It features a Historical Village with original and recreated buildings that trace early regional history and community life. Visitors can explore the 1850s Lathrop House, a public Underground Railroad Site, and railroad exhibits including a 1915 train engine, 1920s caboose, and original Sylvania Depot Building. The Heritage Sylvania Archives and the Cooke-Kuhlman House, the early 20th-century home and office of Dr. Uriah Cooke, are also part of the offerings.
