About Everson Museum of Art
The Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, NY, has a long history of working with important contemporary artists. Over the last 58 years, it has produced solo exhibitions for artists such as Yoko Ono, Morris Louis, Joan Mitchell, Bill Viola, William Wegman, and Carrie Mae Weems. A notable past exhibition was "New Works in Clay by Contemporary Painters and Sculptors" in 1976, which brought artists to Syracuse to create ceramic works.
