About Newark-Arcadia Museum
The Newark-Arcadia Museum, operated by the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society, opened in 1999. It features changing and permanent exhibits on Newark’s history, dating back to the 1820s. Visitors can learn about Newark as an Erie Canal town, Sarah Coventry, and Jackson & Perkins, the world's largest rose growers. The Society also owns the historic 1876 Marbletown Schoolhouse and holds an annual strawberry social.
