About MANITOGA / The Russel Wright Design Center
MANITOGA is the house, studio, and seventy-five-acre woodland garden of mid-century designer Russel Wright (1904-1976), designated as a National Historic Landmark and World Monuments Watch Site. One of the few twentieth-century modern homes open to the public in New York State, the property showcases Wright's design legacy and is an affiliate site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
