About Austin Historical Society Museum
The Austin Historical Society Museum opened in 2006 on the town’s main street. It features an assortment of artifacts that bring Austin’s past to life. Visitors can see vintage furniture, clothing, aprons, quilts, antique saddles, and mining equipment. Exhibits also include an original printing press, pre-Shoshone artifacts, old photographs, and vintage bottles.
