About Navajo Zoo
The Navajo Nation Zoo is the only Native American owned-and-operated zoo in the U.S. It offers a home for injured or orphaned wildlife and provides visitors an opportunity to connect with native Southwest animals culturally important to the Navajo People. The zoo displays over 100 animals from more than 50 species. Visitors can also explore the Golden Eagle Sanctuary and Education Center located within the zoo.
