About Harwood Museum of Art
The Harwood Museum of Art, founded in Taos in 1923, showcases over 100 years of art in a historic John Gaw Meem building. Visitors can explore collections from contemporary to traditional, including the unique Agnes Martin Gallery and Taos Moderns, Native American, and Hispanic Traditions art. The museum also holds the largest collection of santero artists Patrociño Barela and Gustavo Victor Goler, and features a 95-seat Arthur Bell Auditorium.
