About New Mexico History Museum
The New Mexico History Museum in Santa Fe features the Palace of the Governors, the oldest public building in continuous use constructed by European settlers in the continental United States. Visitors can explore the Palace Press, a working exhibit on printing traditions, and interact with artisans through the Native American Artisans Portal Program. The museum also houses the Palace of the Governors Photo Archives with 1,000,000 items and the Fray Angélico Chávez History Library, which preserves historical materials.
