About Lea County Western Museum
The Western Heritage Museum & Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame is housed in a 26,000-square-foot building that opened in January 2006 on the campus of New Mexico Junior College. The museum features comprehensive exhibits depicting the history and heritage of the Llano Estacado region spanning eastern New Mexico and northwestern Texas.
