About Craig House
The Craig House is an 18th-century farmhouse that was home to John and Ann Craig and their three children. It bore witness to the Battle of Monmouth in June 1778, when the family fled as the battle approached. After the battle, the Craigs returned to find their buildings still standing. This historic site is now part of Monmouth Battlefield State Park.
