About Rindge Historcal Museum
The Rindge Historical Society is a nonprofit organization responsible for cataloging and maintaining historical town records and artifacts. The society purchased the Freeborn Stearns House, built around 1815, and converted it into a museum housing an extensive collection of agricultural and industrial artifacts, works of art, maps, books, photographs, diaries, and letters dating back to the eighteenth century. Featured artifacts include discharge papers of Revolutionary War veteran Eleazer Blake signed by George Washington.
