About Burt County Museum
The Burt County Museum is located in the E.C. Houston House, a 1904 14-room home listed on the National and State Registry of Historic places. Visitors can explore the house's Neo-Classical Revival details and view over 25,000 artifacts from the Burt County area. Exhibits include an early 1700s painting of the Last Supper, a 1714 trunk, and a toy room. The third-floor ballroom displays old children’s toys and intricate clothing items from the early 1900s.
