About Heartland Museum of Military Vehicles
The Heartland Museum of Military Vehicles is a non-profit organization operated by volunteers. It houses around 100 authentic military vehicles, including helicopters, tanks, and jeeps, many of which are fully-restored and operational. Visitors can see, touch, and sit in these vehicles, which date from World War II and include rare items like a Downed Airman Retriever. The museum also features displays of military weapons, uniforms, and equipment from World War I onward, with some Civil War artifacts.
