The Franklin County Museum features three buildings on 1.3 acres of land with over 20,000 artifacts. The main building showcases early pioneer settlers, American Wars, Franklin County history, and exhibits on Pierce Lyden and Clarence Mitchell. Visitors can explore Ol' Towne, a recreated old west main street with American Indian artifacts, farm items, and vintage fire engines. The site also includes the authentic one-room Lone Star Schoolhouse.
