About Rowan Museum
The Rowan Museum, an AASLH-accredited nonprofit, preserves Rowan County history from its earliest inhabitants to the present. Visitors explore lived experiences of county residents through exhibitions, educational programs, historical reenactments, and artifact collections spanning from the colonial period through the industrial era across four historic properties.
