About Carter County Museum
The Carter County Museum in Ekalaka, Montana, is Montana’s first county museum and the first to display dinosaur fossils. Housed in its original building, visitors can explore unique dinosaur fossils from an epicenter of discoveries. Exhibits also feature Indigenous culture, veteran displays, and homestead stories from the 1800s.
