About Sanford Historical Museum
The Sanford Centennial Museum houses an extensive local history collection within nine authentically restored and furnished historic buildings. Visitors can explore two schools, a general store, a log cabin, a township hall, a church, a train depot and train, and a Santa house. Inside, collections feature vintage tools, logging implements, political memorabilia, a dentist's office, a saloon, toys, and household goods. The museum also presents an exhibit on the Jack Pine Endurance Run, and its chapel and outdoor gazebo are available for weddings.
