About Heritage Museum and Cultural Center
Founded in 1965 as the Fort Miami Heritage Society, The Heritage Museum and Cultural Center serves as a museum, cultural center, research opportunity, and event space. It promotes the history of St. Joseph, Benton Harbor, and surrounding areas. Currently, a couple of smaller exhibits are in a temporary space on Ship Street, and its archives are temporarily housed in Memorial Hall.
