About Michigan Iron Industry Museum
The Michigan Iron Industry Museum is a modern facility in the forested ravines of the Marquette Iron Range, overlooking the Carp River and the site of the Lake Superior region's first iron manufactory. It tells the story of Michigan’s three iron ranges and their workers through dramatic exhibits, audio-visual programs, and outdoor interpretive trails. Visitors can also view the high-definition video “Iron Spirits: Life on the Michigan Iron Range” in the museum’s 88-seat auditorium.
