About Edwardsburg Area Historical Museum
The Edwardsburg Area Historical Museum preserves the history of the Edwardsburg area. Its building, constructed circa 1861, historically operated as a hotel or boarding house on the Sauk Trail, known by names like the Schock House and Rinehart Hotel. Volunteers converted the donated structure into a museum in 2001, later adding a new two-story section in 2005 that resembles a portion of the original house.
