About Calumet Union Building
The Calumet Visitor Center, housed in the historic Union Building, features three floors of interactive exhibits, films, and museum pieces exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula's rich cultural and copper mining heritage. The exhibits trace stories spanning more than seven thousand years from Indigenous copper craftsmanship to the industrial mining era.
