About Winter Harbor Yacht Club
The Winter Harbor Yacht Club was founded in the 1890s in Downeast Maine, across Frenchman Bay from Mount Desert Island. Visiting yachtsmen are welcome and can use moorings, launch service, and the snack bar. The club offers members sailing and racing activities, including Knockabout and Bullseye races, and a Junior Sailing program. Historic Winter Harbor Knockabouts have been at the club since 1907.
