About Governor Brann School
The Historic Governor Brann Schoolhouse was built in 1934 and named for Governor Louis J. Brann. This building has been restored to its original condition, featuring the original paint scheme, hard wood floors, and a "two holer." The school closed in the 1950s. Today, the Town of Cyr Plantation uses the building for a polling station and annual town meetings.
