About Garrett County Historical Museum
The Garrett County Historical Museum preserves over 200 years of local history through its two museum locations. Visitors can explore a variety of artifacts and presentations at the History Museum. The Transportation Museum, opened in 2011, features automobiles, boats, the history of Deep Creek Lake, and rotating exhibits.
