About Grantsville Museum
The Grantsville Community Museum opened in 2006 in the former Ruth Enlow Library building. It aims to preserve the photographic legacy of Leo Beachy, a poet and photographer who recorded local history from 1905-1927. The museum tells the story of Grantsville and Western Maryland through photographs and community-donated artifacts. Visitors can see artifacts from the First State Bank in the former bank safe, items from Braddock’s Trail, and a display about the 1964 B-52 Bomber crash.
