About The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum
The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum is devoted to Springfield native Theodor Geisel. Its first floor features bilingual, interactive exhibits exploring Geisel’s roots and offering opportunities to experiment with sounds, vocabulary, rhyming games, and story invention. The second floor recreates Geisel’s studio and living room with his actual furniture and art materials, displaying never-before-publicly-shown art, family photographs, and letters. Visitors can also see Theophrastus, Geisel's childhood toy dog.
