About Loring-Greenough House
The Loring Greenough House, constructed in 1760 by Commodore Joshua Loring, was owned by the Greenough family until 1924. The Jamaica Plain Tuesday Club purchased the house that year and has stewarded it since. Today, the House serves as a center for social, cultural, historical, and educational activities, where visitors can learn about its history and participate in various programs.
