About Fairbanks House
The Fairbanks House in Dedham, MA is a historic house museum and the oldest known timber frame house still standing in North America. Built circa 1637, it was home to eight generations of the Fairbanks family for 269 years. Visitors can explore this example of historic American architecture, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The house preserves a high percentage of its original 17th-century features.
